Simone Isemann, Psychologist

Simone works at Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury in their face-to- face counselling service and bulk billing service. In addition to seeing individual clients, Simone co - facilitates the “Partners in Depression” group and “Reach” mood disorder group. Simone works in the areas of depression, anxiety and life transitions and adjustments and draws on her knowledge of positive psychology, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients work towards increased resilience and well-being.
Cherri Southerton, Psychologist

Cherri is both a registered psychologist and nurse. She currently works at Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury, in private practice and for the Asbestos Disease Foundation of Australia. She specialises in the field of psycho-oncology and is passionate about providing support to people with cancer and their families. She also counsels people who are experiencing acute, chronic or terminal illnesses. Cherri does generalist counselling with experience in assisting people experiencing bereavement, anxiety, anger, phobias and stress.
Cherri is trained in CBT, Solution Focused, Transactional and Behavioural therapies but she uses an eclectic approach to counselling. Drawing on her knowledge, counselling is tailored to match the client’s personality, needs and presenting issue thereby enabling the best possible outcome for the client.
Jeanette Svehla, Psychologist
Qualifications: BA Psych (Honours), PGDip in Applied Psychology, AssocMAPS

Jeanette works at Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury (LLH2H) as part of the face to face personal counselling team. She is also the coordinator of the RGF problem gambling service, funded by the NSW government to provide counselling and support services for problem gamblers, their families and others.
As well, Jeanette works with clients experiencing depression & mood disorders, anxiety, substance abuse disorders, sleep problems, stress & anger, life transitions & adjustment issues. Jeanette is trained in Focused Psychological Strategies including Dialectic Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Jeanette enjoys working with clients to develop skills and strategies for a positive and healthy lifestyle.
Gabrielle Waters-McKay, Psychologist

Gabrielle Waters-McKay is a registered psychologist with over nine years counselling experience. She currently coordinates the face to face counselling service team at Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury and also works as a psychologist in private practice. Gabrielle is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dealectical Behaviour Therapy, Narrative, Motivational Interviewing and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy. She also co facilitates a ‘Partners in Depression’ Group and an upcoming Depression Group. She is experienced in crisis intervention, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, adjustment issues and parenting. Gabrielle works with adults, adolescents and children and is passionate about supporting people to explore their inner strengths in their journey from mental illness to recovery so they can lead rich and meaningful lives. |
