Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury provides face to face counselling from its office in Gordon on the North Shore of Sydney. Bookings are essential.
We provide face to face counselling without judgment or religious or cultural bias in a safe and respectful environment.
This service provides assessment, referral and where appropriate ongoing,
individual and couple short term counselling. The service is generalist in
nature, however it responds to a wide range of counselling issues including
crisis situations and gambling problems.
- Relationship Problems (for couples and individuals)
- Self Esteem / Personal Growth
- Grief & Loss
- and other general issues
All of the counsellors are qualified and experienced, and are Intern or Clinical members of CAPA (the Counsellors and Psychotherapists Association
of NSW), APS (the Australian Psychological Society), or a similar professional organisation.
Lifeline Financial Counsellors can negotiate on behalf of the client with credit providers, government agencies and other creditors.
This service provides on-going, in-depth financial counselling for those who find themselves in financial difficulty, including small business clients.
Presenting issues include:
Personal or Small Business Issues
- Loss of Employment
- Inadequate Income
- Problem Gambling
Lifeline also provides a vehicle for social change in the consumer credit area by providing liaison with the credit industry and early identification of unethical industry practices.
All of the financial counsellors are members of FCAN (the Financial Counsellors' Association of NSW).
We support people in need, in many ways.
